Summary of Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act

Wednesday, March 25, 2020 - The Senate passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, or CARES Act, advancing legislation with the purpose of providing financial assistance to Americans and businesses suffering from economic devastation resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. The bill must now pass in the House of Representatives before reaching The White House to be signed into law.
